About This Explainer Video
Resource optimization can be a complex topic. To meet the objectives of this project, Autodemo created an explainer video with multiple goals in mind. We wanted to make reference to the resource complexities within a large enterprise, while doing so in a simple, visually appealing manner. The colorful motion graphics served this function. Additionally, we wanted to connect with the viewer’s pain points. The IT decision makers within the logistics and healthcare industries were selected for their particular need for a powerful and flexible resource planning solution.
Appealing to Multiple Audiences Through Scenarios
Autodemo uses scenario-based content in both explainer and demo videos because it shows a real world example of the benefits of the solution. In the case of this explainer, we explore the world of Jim, the IT Director at a global logistics company and Linda, the Application Architect at a major hospital. Showcasing common resource related problems from Jim and Linda’s perspectives makes an emotional connection with the everyday problems of the viewer. The best videos make an emotional connection with the viewer and show how the solution — in this case, Red Hat’s Business Resource Planner — can solve their real world problems.
